Actress Hwang Jung-Eum received unexpected support from a passerby while using public transportation.

On the 2nd, a video titled "The Day I Go To Work Out" was released on Hwang Jung-Eum's YouTube channel.

That day, as she left home to exercise, she said, "I'm going to take the bus. I find riding the bus really fun, and my kids like it too, so we ride it often." She then shared a down-to-earth daily routine using public transportation.

While waiting for the bus, she had an unexpected conversation with a passerby. A woman in her 60s who introduced herself as a nearby resident greeted her warmly, saying, "I live right next door, too."

The woman then recalled how Hwang Jung-Eum looked before her divorce and expressed sorrow. She said, "I knew in advance. I could see you were in sadness," and added, "Once, before you divorced, I saw you at Namsan with your children and your ex-husband. Your ex-husband looked so happy, but you didn't look happy. So my heart hurt so much." Hearing this, Hwang Jung-Eum briefly replied, "I always hated it," revealing how she had felt at the time.

She went on, "My heart hurt so much, but after a few months when I heard you were getting divorced, I was so glad," and continued, "Since then, no matter what happens, I've been cheering you on. Like a daughter." Hwang Jung-Eum responded, "Thank you so much. Because we're both women...," expressing her gratitude.

Meanwhile, Hwang Jung-Eum married a businessman and former professional golfer in 2016 and had two sons. In 2020, she filed for divorce mediation, then withdrew it the following year and reconciled, but they later split again. The two finalized their divorce in May.
