The KBS2 variety show ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ unveiled a new group photo featuring Lee Yong-jin and Lee Gi-taek joining the cast after the departures of Jo Se-ho and Yoo Seon-ho.
On the 3rd, the ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ production team revamped the official website and released the members’ new group profile photos.
The photo shows existing members Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, Lee Jun, and DinDin, together with the newly added Lee Yong-jin and Lee Gi-taek, gathered in one place striking a pose. The six members face the camera side by side, showcasing the chemistry of the refreshed lineup.
Recently, ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ faced the need for change after two members left. Jo Se-ho, who became embroiled in controversy including allegations of ties to organized crime, left the program last December, and Yoo Seon-ho also announced his departure recently due to difficulties balancing acting work.
The producers sought change by bringing in Lee Yong-jin as the replacement for Jo Se-ho and Lee Gi-taek as the replacement for Yoo Seon-ho. With the two filling the roster, the team has returned to a six-member lineup.
‘2 Days & 1 Night’, a flagship Korean outdoor variety show that first aired in 2007 and now marks its 18th anniversary, has been airing Season 4 since 2019. It is broadcast every Sunday at 6:10 p.m. on KBS2.
