Model Han Hye-jin sparked laughter when she unexpectedly received ‘natural beauty’ certification while undergoing an Alzheimer’s (dementia) screening.
On the 4th, a video titled ‘The Story I Least Wanted to Hear’ was posted on Han Hye-jin’s YouTube channel ‘Han Hye Jin’. In the video, Han Hye-jin visited a hospital with her mother, who is approaching seventy, to check brain health and underwent various tests.
During the consultation that day, a lighthearted mishap occurred. When the doctor, while reviewing Han Hye-jin’s brain MRI, remarked, “Your nose is really sharp,” she immediately asked, “I did not have surgery. You can tell right here, doctor, right?” The doctor replied, “Yes, I can tell. You are natural. Very sharp, naturally,” thereby medically proving that her nose had not undergone plastic surgery and eliciting laughter.

When the doctor went on to praise her healthy brain state, saying, “The brain is packed,” Han Hye-jin smiled and said, “Maybe even my brain gained weight. My brain is chubby.”
Despite being known as someone who enjoys drinking, Han Hye-jin’s liver health also delivered a twist. When her blood test showed favorable liver values, the doctor assessed, “These are not at all the numbers of someone who drinks heavily.” Hardly letting him finish, Han Hye-jin turned to the camera and said, “See? You saw that, everyone? I do not actually drink that much. I have told you my liver is basically pristine,” confidently expressing her frustration. The doctor added, “You are completely normal. Even on the low end of normal,” effectively giving official recognition to the so-called ‘baby liver’.
Hearing that the prevalence of dementia is higher in women than in men due to hormonal effects also became a humorous moment in her signature style. “These damn hormones,” Han Hye-jin said, adding, “If I was not going to get married or have children anyway, I should have just been born a man. If this face were a man’s, imagine it. It could be a handsome face,” showcasing her distinctive variety sense.
Meanwhile, the day’s examination results showed that Han Hye-jin has no dementia-risk genes and is in excellent health across all areas, including cerebral blood vessels and electrocardiogram. Her mother, although carrying some Alzheimer’s risk genes, received an opinion that her current brain function and vascular condition are at the level of a 65-year-old and very good, so both mother and daughter left the hospital with a light step.
