Broadcaster Park Ji-yoon attended the elementary school graduation ceremony of her son, revealing uncommon emotions.

On the 5th, Park Ji-yoon posted several photos on her social media along with the message “Already graduating elementary school…!!!”.

She said, “Today, Ian (her son) had his elementary school graduation. At the school he attends here, he will become a middle school student next term,” adding, “The second child still feels more like a baby, and I feel a tender affection. I am not the only one who feels this way, right?”.

She continued, “Because I had him and raised him when work was at its busiest, I have always been full of guilt, so I tried to take the lead as a mom at least for his school life in Jeju, but the year ended with me having done nothing,” confiding, “At least in my heart, I was very busy.”

Feeling the reality of her son’s growth, Park Ji-yoon said, “He still feels like a baby you cannot take your eyes off even for a moment, yet now he makes plans with friends, goes to play basketball, and even talks about a girl he likes; it is so amazing,” and expressed affection, saying, “He came down to Jeju when he was a kindergartener, and he has grown so much, our son.”

She added, “He is truly as tall as his mom,” noting how much he has shot up, and then comforted herself by writing, “And good job, myself. In many ways.”

The photos released together show Park Ji-yoon attending the graduation of her son. In particular, the view from behind of her son, who has grown to nearly match the height of Park Ji-yoon, drew attention.

Meanwhile, Park Ji-yoon married Choi Dong-seok, a fellow member of the 30th class of KBS announcers, in 2009 and had one son and one daughter, but they separated in 2023. Currently, the two children attend an international school in Jeju, and Park Ji-yoon is raising them.
