News of singer Seo In-young’s remarriage is drawing attention.

According to Ilgan Sports on the 7th, Seo In-young is set to marry Choi Ji-hoon, CEO of the content creative company NP, in the second half of this year. Born in 1978, Choi is six years older than Seo In-young, who was born in 1984, and the two reportedly met through an acquaintance and developed into a romantic relationship.

Upon hearing this, online commenters showed various reactions, such as, “There was a unique charm to her single-again life, so it is a bit of a shame,” “I hope she will live happily this time,” and “I naturally thought her boyfriend would be younger, so this is unexpected.”

Earlier, in May, through her YouTube channel ‘Reformed Seo In-young’, Seo In-young revealed that she is currently dating. She said, “I have never taken a break from dating since elementary school,” adding, “Of course I am currently dating.” She went on to express affection for her boyfriend, saying, “He was not originally my type, but I found the way he smiles without averting his eyes attractive.”

Subsequently, appearing on singer Lee Ji-hye’s YouTube channel last month, Seo In-young directly mentioned her intention to remarry. She said, “I will get married again. That is my dream,” and added, “If we do not put a stamp on the papers, I feel like my mind might change.”

Meanwhile, Seo In-young married a non-celebrity businessman in 2023 but divorced by mutual agreement the following year. On her YouTube channel in March, she confided, “After my mother suddenly passed away, I got married and even considered retiring,” and, “Because it was not the married life I had imagined, the loneliness and depression were intense. I tried to endure it, but in the end I got divorced,” opening up about her feelings after the divorce.
