ENA·SBS Plus ‘I’m Solo’

As various influencers share scenes from protests demanding a re-vote following the June 3 local election ballot shortage, cast members of ENA·SBS Plus ‘I’m Solo’ are also speaking out publicly.

Gwangsu of Season 24 of ‘I’m Solo’ shared photos and videos from a rally calling for a re-vote held around Jamsil in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 6th via his Instagram.

Gwangsu wrote, “There may no longer be anything we can practically do in Jamsil, but I just hope this place keeps being where people gather and raise their voices,” adding, “Since the media and the president are completely ignoring us, I hope it becomes a place where we keep gathering and speaking up until they listen.”

A video posted by another participant also showed Gwangsu marching with the protesters and chanting “re-vote.”

Youngsook of Season 16 likewise posted a lengthy message on her Instagram along with a photo of the Taegeukgi (the South Korean flag).

Youngsook wrote, “My deep thanks to the citizens in Jamsil who moved me, to the citizens who stayed up all night and shouted until their voices gave out,” adding, “It has already infiltrated deeply and badly rotted. The ones that are only like children will never move, the inside will become even more divided, and it will be a tiring, long time.”

She continued, “My father is not an ordinary person, so I humbly accept accordingly,” and added, “Rather than to my father, I want to be able to face my son with pride, having done my very best. Victory.”

Later, Youngsook also revealed that her father is a special mission merit honoree and a former North Korea infiltration agent (HID).

She also took a hard line toward some netizens who criticized her political views. Through related posts, Youngsook referred to those who criticized her as “spies” and signaled legal action.
