Actor Park Bo-young directly shared her feelings about malicious comments on social media related to protests calling for a re-election.

On the 7th, while chatting with fans through the paid fan communication platform Bubble, Park Bo-young stated her position regarding the malicious comments directed at her.

In response to fans’ worried messages, Park conveyed her gratitude, saying, “I gained a lot of strength thanks to you. Thank you.”

She went on to reassure fans, saying, “I found out about it on Bubble. Those people are strange. So don’t worry,” and added, “It hardly affects me.”

At the same time, she revealed her affection for fans, saying, “I tend to be hurt by what my cuties (fans) say. When you love, it hurts more.”

Earlier, a stream of comments on Park Bo-young’s social media asked her to express a political opinion about the shortage of ballot papers in the 6·3 local elections.

Last year, during rallies calling for the impeachment of former President Yoon Suk-yeol, Park left a message for fans: “It’s cold, so bundle up before you go out. I hope warm spring comes soon.” As a result, some netizens poured out criticism at Park for not stating a particular position on the recent protests, using phrases like “selective justice” and “Please prepay in Jamsil as well.”

In response, fans launched a campaign to post supportive comments to push down the malicious ones on Park Bo-young’s social media. Some fans encouraged others on social media to join in with positive comments and cheered her on.
