NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang candidly shares everything from his affection for Korea to his love of K-pop and advice for the younger generation.

On the 8th, tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’ released a teaser video for Jensen Huang’s appearance. The video includes behind-the-scenes from his recent samgyeopsal get-together with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and Naver Chairman Lee Hae-jin, along with his life philosophy.

Earlier, on the 5th, Jensen Huang met with domestic business figures at a samgyeopsal restaurant near Hongdae Ipgu Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Regarding this, he joked, “Since I was the eldest, I ate the most.”

In particular, he also recalled visiting Korea 30 years ago. Jensen Huang, who said he personally walked through the Yongsan electronics market handing out business cards and making sales, added with a laugh, “You know how much I love to eat,” sharing an anecdote about enjoying company dinners with people from the market.

He also revealed a special affection for K-pop. Jensen Huang said, “I really like Hwasa’s music. Hwasa is really captivating,” adding, “‘Good Good Bye’ is great, and the new album ‘So Cute’ is great, too. Hwasa has excellent vocals and is also an outstanding dancer.”

Then, when Yoo Jae-suk proposed a balance game, asking, “Among Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun, and SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, who are you closest to?”, Jensen Huang said, “That’s too easy,” stirring curiosity.

When Yoo Jae-suk asked, “Do young people have to suffer in order to succeed?”, Jensen Huang replied, “Suffering isn’t essential in life,” while adding, “To become great, you have to hurt. If you don’t break, whatever future comes, you will succeed,” leaving a deep impression.
