As the controversy over the leak of the private SNS post by ‘Heart Signal 4’ alum Kim Ji-min continues to spread, influencer Yoo Hye-won, who was mentioned in the post, and ‘Singles Inferno 5’ alum Park Hee-seon responded in different ways.

On the 7th, Yoo Hye-won shared on her SNS a video from rapper and actor Swings’s live broadcast. The clip captures a past moment when Swings was in a war of words with rapper Big Naughty, and Swings is seen saying, “I do not want to be exhausted by things like this. I just go, ‘Ah, why act like this,’” while shuddering.

Recently, controversy erupted online after an SNS post that Kim Ji-min had shared only with acquaintances was leaked. The leaked post was said to contain private-life rumors surrounding Yoo Hye-won. As a result, some interpret that Yoo Hye-won may have indirectly revealed her feelings about the recent controversy by sharing that video.

The controversy also spread to Park Hee-seon. It was reported that the leaked post likewise included sponsor rumors surrounding Netflix variety show ‘Singles Inferno 5’ cast member Park Hee-seon.

In response, Park Hee-seon stated his position directly via his SNS. He emphasized, “The suspicions about me currently being mentioned online are clearly false,” and, “The dissemination of those falsehoods has already been confirmed as untrue through investigative procedures.”

He continued, “In January of this year, I filed a criminal complaint over the falsehoods spread by an anonymous cyber criminal, and in April the suspect was booked and referred to the prosecution,” adding, “Spreading falsehoods, defamation, and the indiscriminate reproduction of such content are clearly illegal acts.”

He added, “Together with the legal team, we are continuously monitoring related posts and distribution channels, and we will take strict legal action against any unlawful acts that are identified.”

As the controversy grew, Kim Ji-min posted an apology on the 6th. She said, “As someone in a profession that receives more than enough love and attention from the public, I should always have shown greater prudence and maturity; however, due to my lack of judgment, I believe I have caused many people discomfort and disappointment, and I feel heavy-hearted.”

She went on to explain, “It is true that some of the content included in the posts currently circulating online was written by me,” while adding, “In the course of re-distribution, there are parts that include content added by others, and there are also portions where timing and context have been omitted or distorted.”

Regarding the post that mentioned Park Hee-seon, she bowed her head and said, “I sincerely apologize to Park Hee-seon and those involved, who suffered unintended harm and hurt due to content whose facts were not clearly verified.”
