Singer Seo In-young has spoken up about the mixed reactions and concerns ahead of her remarriage.
On the 9th, through her YouTube channel ‘Reformed Seo In-young’, she released a video titled ‘First reveal of Seo In-young’s feelings on marriage (Misunderstandings and Truth, Wedding)’.
In the video, referring to the public response to her remarriage news, she said, “I’m aware that reactions are half support and half concern,” adding, “Because my first marriage failed, I think it’s natural for people to worry.”
Even so, Seo In-young asked, “I’m so happy with my life as a YouTuber right now. Within that happiness, there was my boyfriend, and I went to church because of him. My lifestyle won’t change going forward, and I’ll keep working hard and communicating actively, so there won’t be any changes to worry about.” She continued, “Just because I’m getting married, can’t I go to Waterbomb? It’s not like I have a baby now. I don’t have plans for a baby yet.”
She also addressed misunderstandings about her fianc. “People say he’s a ‘businessman,’ but rather than making a lot of money, he’s a hard-working salaried representative,” she explained, calling him a “workaholic.”
She added, “In the past, I thought a man with a lot of money was good, but now I prefer someone who lives diligently,” saying she found his diligence attractive.
Regarding his personality, she said, “He is very earnest and not the humorous type a proper person,” confessing, “At first, I didn’t think I could date a man with this style. I even worried that I might be a burden to him.”
She also expressed her affection, saying, “Even if we argue, my boyfriend doesn’t say a single word about me to people around him,” adding, “I was truly grateful for that, and it made me trust him.”
She revealed her wedding plans as well. “We originally planned to marry in the first half of the year, but it was postponed because of my YouTube filming schedule,” Seo In-young said. “We plan to hold a small wedding at a church.” She also drew a clear line, saying she has no plans for children.
