The group Queenz Eye has entered YouTube charts with the new song ‘Y2K’.

On the 8th, Queenz Eye ranked 15th on YouTube Daily Top Music Videos chart in Korea with the music video for the title track ‘Y2K’. On YouTube Daily Top Shorts Songs chart, it placed 17th in Korea (as of the 7th) and 26th in Japan (as of the 5th).

The ‘Y2K’ music video features visuals and performances that reinterpret the sensibilities of the 2000s in a modern way. Against backdrops of vintage streets and waiting rooms, props such as flip phones and digital cameras, along with styling, enhance the mood of the track.

This outcome is meaningful in that it drew reactions through Shorts content as well as the music video. Its addictive melody and easy-to-follow point choreography led to interest among short-form users.

The title track ‘Y2K’ is the title song of the second mini-album ‘PRISM EP.02’, released on the 28th of last month. It is a pop track that reinterprets early-2000s sensibilities with a modern sound, characterized by nostalgia-inducing production and a catchy melody.
