Actor Jo In-sung gave a glimpse into the filming of the movie ‘Hope’ (directed by Na Hong-jin).

In a recent interview with the July issue of the magazine ‘Arena Homme Plus’, Jo In-sung confessed to the tension he felt during the filming of ‘Hope’.

As the cover model for the July issue, he said, “Creating something new requires courage. If there is not a certain degree of physical or mental pain, you end up putting on the clothes you wore before. New clothes are uncomfortable, but that discomfort also means they can show a new look,” and added, “The longer an actor has been active, the harder it becomes to find a new side. That is why I believe such courage is essential,” stating his conviction.

He also spoke about how, even after acting for a long time, he still gets the jitters each time. He explained, “Even if I did well on yesterday’s shoot, today is a new shoot, and even if I messed it up yesterday, today is a fresh start. That is why excitement and anxiety always coexist,” and continued, “It is the same whether you are a rookie or a veteran. If I were to film ‘Hope’ fifty times, it might feel less new, but every project is both the first and the last. Every time I read a new script, I feel excited and nervous again. In the end, everything starts from zero.”
