Representatives for singer and actor Lee Seung-gi stated regarding the dispute with Chairman Cha Ga-won that “they will detail the criminal allegations and hold him strictly accountable”.

Attorney Yoon Yong-seok, legal representative for Lee Seung-gi, conveyed the position of Lee Seung-gi to the media regarding a YouTube video released on the 11th by the Cha Ga-won side.

Earlier, the Cha Ga-won side, through attorney Hyun Dong-yeop's YouTube channel, said to employees of One Hundred Label and others who have not yet received their wages, “We are very sorry that wage payments have been delayed and we bow our heads in apology.”

The Cha Ga-won side also said, “We have no excuse for failing to keep even the most basic promise to those who trusted the company and worked hard with us,” and claimed, “The company has worked to understand and resolve the internal situation, and as a result intends to pay the unpaid wages.”

They further countered, “The termination of the exclusive contract was due to unsettled accounts,” and, “It was agreed that Cha Ga-won (representative of the apartment management fee association) would bear the maintenance fees and they would be set off until the unsettled amount was paid, but even that continued to be in arrears, so on June 4 Lee Seung-gi paid the full amount.”

It continued, “Wage arrears for on-site staff were first repaid with the personal funds of Lee Seung-gi. In addition, the loan interest that Cha Ga-won says he bore was, from the outset and without consent, posted as a company advance, so in the end it was borne by Lee Seung-gi.”

The representatives of Lee Seung-gi pointed out that “Cha Ga-won must, as the head of the agency, give top priority to fulfilling obligations such as resolving wage arrears and unsettled amounts owed to partner vendors such as the dry cleaner owner, to executives and staff, and to affiliated artists.”
