Chairman Cha Ga-won, Onehundred Label

Cha Ga-won, head of Onehundred Label and a talent manager who has repeatedly been in conflict with affiliated celebrities such as Lee Seung-gi and MC Mong, personally apologized over the issue of unpaid wages.

On the 11th, Chairman Cha said through the YouTube channel of his legal representative, attorney Hyun Dong-yeop, to Onehundred Label employees and others who have not currently received their wages, “I am deeply sorry that the payment of wages that should have been paid has been delayed, and I bow my head in apology.”

He added, “I am ashamed that we failed to keep even the most basic promise on time to those of you who trusted the company and worked hard with us,” and, “The company has worked to understand and resolve the internal situation, and as a result, we intend to pay the unpaid wages.”

Chairman Cha stated, “After we provide guidance together on the specific procedures through Hwagum Law Firm, which represents the company, we will make payment as quickly as possible,” and, “Once again, I offer a sincere apology and will take responsibility to the end.”

According to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Seoul Gangnam District Office has been sequentially conducting a full survey·supervision on wage arrears at Onehundred Label and two related companies since May. This is seen as a measure taken in response to reports on wage arrears submitted by affiliated workers since April.

Onehundred Label, the parent company of Big Planet Made Enter, is in a situation where affiliated artists are successively declaring the termination of their exclusive contracts due to deteriorating management and other factors.
