Singer-songwriter Milena returns with a new EP of well-crafted sound that showcases her rich musical world.
At 6 p.m. on the 12th, Milena released the new EP ‘Mongolian spot’ through various online music platforms.
‘Mongolian spot’ is a term for the bluish birthmark we are born with; although it may fade or disappear over time, the album captures a resolve by Milena to accept all such imperfections, anxieties, and wounds and move forward.
The album contains five tracks in total, including the title track ‘Better left unsaid’, as well as pre-released tracks from last month ‘Telescope’, ‘Heart on the table’, ‘frozen sandwich’, and ‘Tragedy of a girl’.
On the 19th, through a collaboration with the curation-specialty mall The Hyundai Hi and Music Space Seongsuyul Music, Milena will host a release-commemorative listening session for ‘Mongolian spot’ at Seongsuyul Music in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, meeting fans. She plans to unveil live performances of the new songs for the first time that day, drawing strong interest from music fans.
Milena is also set to take the opening stage at the Asia five-country dates of Wave Tours world tour ‘the pieces tour’ this November. Expectations are growing for the performances with which she will capture the attention of global fans.
Even before her official debut, Milena drew recognition for composition and arrangement skills, and she has stood out with trendy music marked by a unique personality and color. Since debuting in 2021, she has steadily released tracks such as ‘Where to Begin’, ‘Nothing’, and ‘Singlehood (i love you)’, establishing her presence as a skilled singer-songwriter.
Last month, she appeared at ‘The 18th Seoul Jazz Festival 2026’, where she unveiled the first live performance of ‘Telescope’ and filled the venue with energy through a varied set list that included a cover of the Carpenters song ‘Close To You’.
