YouTube channel ‘Soolbijneun Yunjumo’

Actor Sung Dong-il shared an update on his daughter Sung Bin.

On the 12th, the YouTube channel ‘Soolbijneun Yunjumo’ uploaded a video titled “Joon, welcome! Sung Dong-il’s wish fulfilled✨ A drink with Joon~ (Real daughter Bin appears?!) | Haebang Talk EP.11”.

That day, Sung Dong-il appeared with his son Sung Joon and opened up about his children’s growth.

Regarding his daughter, Sung Bin, Sung Dong-il said, “Bin does contemporary dance. Her physique wasn’t naturally well-suited for dance, but she truly worked hard and overcame it. When she was little, she was pigeon-toed.”

He continued, “Even if she doesn’t necessarily make a living through dance, I told her that someone who can work that hard can do well anywhere.”

He also said that, at present, Bin reads more books than Sung Joon, who had been a ‘bookworm’ since childhood. He added, “From a young age, Bin was curious about everything her older brother did,” and “As he began to recognize letters, he came to like books even more than Sung Bin.”

Sung Joon then praised her, saying, “Bin read a lot of books starting in fourth grade of elementary school. Even when speed-reading, she reads carefully and remembers well,” and “Although she’s in the arts now, if she had focused on academics, she probably would have gotten into a better university than me.”

To this, Sung Dong-il also laughed, saying, “She’s really smart. Her shrewdness is even better than mine.”

Lastly, the preview for next week showed Bin actually appearing. She drew attention with a more mature look than before, rather than the mischievous image of the past.

Previously, in 2013, Bin appeared on the MBC variety show “Dad! Where Are We Going?” and was much loved for her playful charm. Since then, she has reportedly devoted herself to contemporary dance while continuing her studies and arts activities.
