Creator Park Hyun-ji, who appeared on ‘Transit Love 4’, is connecting with the public through a special collaboration with a music platform.

On the 11th, Park Hyun-ji unveiled the collaborative playlist project ‘Layover Somewhere’ with the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify.

Drawing on her background as a former flight attendant, Park Hyun-ji served as the playlist host and narrator to enhance completeness. She delivered the narration in a tone reminiscent of an actual in-flight announcement, and added comments reflecting personal feelings experienced during travel to heighten immersion.

‘Layover Somewhere’ is a story-driven playlist that combines music with audio liners, designed to capture the feeling of briefly staying over while transiting through an unnamed overseas city.

The ‘Somewhere’ used in the project title was designed to prompt each listener to recall a destination from imagination, and it differentiates itself by rendering, through music and voice content, the sensation of breaking away from daily life and heading somewhere.

The project consists of five chapters: ‘Boarding’, ‘Above the Clouds’, ‘Arrival: Somewhere’, ‘Night Out Somewhere’, and ‘Hotel Room, 3AM’, and it includes about 30 tracks and 6 audio liners. Park Hyun-ji expressed the air of an unfamiliar city and an early-morning mood through a variety of sounds spanning city pop, global R&B, and Korean indie.

Having recently signed an exclusive contract with EGO GROUP, Park Hyun-ji became known to the public through the TVING original ‘Transit Love 4’ and has continued her activities as a creator after the broadcast. She presents a variety of lifestyle content, including fashion, beauty, and vlogs, through her YouTube channel ‘This Is Park Hyun-ji’ and her personal social media, and by opening the fan communication platform Bubble, she is making her presence known with a distinctive path different from conventional influencers.
