Dongyeon of the group Pau has lost his father.

Grid Entertainment stated on the 13th, “After a long battle with illness, the condition of the father of Dongyeon deteriorated rapidly, and he passed away in the early hours of today.”

It continued, “At present, Dongyeon is keeping vigil at the wake with his family, paying tribute to the deceased. For the time being, scheduled activities and communication with fans will not take place,” and added, “We will provide separate guidance later regarding the resumption of activities. Please offer warm condolences and consideration so that the artist and the bereaved family can have time to mourn the deceased.”

Dongyeon is currently keeping vigil at the wake with his family. It is understood that funeral procedures are underway to bid farewell to his father amid sorrow.

The group Pau, to which Dongyeon belongs, is a five-member boy group composed of Yochi, Hyunbin, Jeongbin, Dongyeon, and Hong. After promoting with ‘COME TRUE’ in January, they have recently continued active global activities, touring major cities in China to hold fansign sessions and fan events. Through the project ‘The Demo Tape’, they are presenting songs composed by the members and expanding their presence as growth-oriented artists.
