Episode 402 of Omniscient Interfering View, airing on the 13th, unveils a bold shoot by official Choi Ji-ho, the Chungju Girl who is following in Chungju Man Kim Seon-tae's footsteps.
That day, official Choi Ji-ho set out to film a parody of the viral Little Captain video to promote Chungju's signature event, the Dive Festival. However, during preparations, an unexpected hiccup occurred when the most important prop, a hat, failed to arrive. Caught off guard by the unforeseen snag, the Chungju Girl and manager-official Jang Yeon-ju could not hide their fluster. They quickly bought paper and made a hat on the spot, and thanks to the hat crafted by Jang Yeon-ju, the Chungju Girl was able to perfectly recreate the unmistakable Little Captain look.
There is, however, someone keeping her video in check(?): Chungju Man Kim Seon-tae, now a rival. While on the move to shoot content, a call comes in from Chungju Man to official Choi Ji-ho. The two have continued to stay in touch even after his resignation. Though he scolds her as being clingy, Chungju Man still reliably takes calls from his juniors, showing the side of a senior who is tough on the outside but warm on the inside. When asked for his thoughts on the content before the shoot, he left a cold assessment that it was too cliched, which had everyone in stitches. Attention is on whether the Chungju Girl can overcome Chungju Man's harsh critique and successfully film the Little Captain parody.
Diving into the main shoot at the rowing course, the Chungju Girl throws herself into slapstick for views atop the wide lake. To get the perfect cut, she has to stand on a rocking boat. Strong winds whip up, making it hard to keep balance as filming continues. At that very moment, official Choi Ji-ho plunges from the boat into the lake, showing no-holds-barred commitment. It is said she was left with bruises on her legs afterward. The video, for which the Chungju Girl put her whole body on the line, has drawn a fiery response, surpassing 1,000,000 views within three days of release. Curiosity is growing over how Chungju Man, who previously called it cliched, reacted after watching the completed video.
