Actor Hong I-seol personally denied the dating rumors with actor Heo Nam-joon that have recently spread online, moving to quell the speculation.

Late on the 13th, through her Instagram on social media, Hong I-seol drew a clear line, saying, “As for the actor being mentioned (Heo Nam-joon), we only became close as good colleagues while taking classes together in college; the dating rumors are not true at all.”

Regarding why she initially hesitated to state her position, she explained, “I was worried that another misunderstanding might arise because of what I posted,” while adding, “However, due to the continuing speculation, I felt it could cause trouble for the other actor, so I decided to speak directly like this.” She continued, “The current dating rumors and stories related to the drama are all untrue, so there is no need to worry,” repeatedly asking people to refrain from further unfounded speculation.

The dating rumors began to spread recently through some online communities. In particular, as attention turned to the fact that Hong I-seol made a brief appearance as a secretary in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Brave New World’, in which Heo Nam-joon is starring, the rumors were fanned; however, thanks to the swift response by those involved, it appears to have been wrapped up as a fleeting episode.

Meanwhile, born in 1997, Hong I-seol is a rookie actor who has appeared in the independent film ‘Womb Mate’, the drama ‘House of Cock’, and numerous airline commercials, gaining public recognition. Recently, in ‘Brave New World’, despite a short amount of screen time, she left a strong impression on viewers with her clean-cut and innocent presence.
