“Luckily, Jun-hyun was there for me”

There are signs that a chaotic set of love lines is forming on the reality dating program ‘Heart Signal 5’. Jung Jun-hyun actively engages in ‘flirting’ with Kang Yu-kyung, while Park Woo-yeol shows a bittersweet smile. After an ‘arcade date’, a newly budding romantic vibe is sensed between Choi So-yoon and Kim Seo-won, among others.

In a recently released teaser for Episode 10 of Channel A ‘Heart Signal 5’ (directed by Park Cheol-hwan and Kim Hong-gu), which airs at 10 p.m. on the 16th, the eight residents are seen going on new dates and showing changes in their emotions, heightening curiosity for the main broadcast.

In the teaser, Kang Yu-kyung gives off a closer vibe as she does the dishes not with Park Woo-yeol but with Jung Jun-hyun. Leaning on him, she says, “Luckily, I had Jun-hyun with me,” whereas Park Woo-yeolwho had been giving off a ‘real couple’ mood with heroffers a cute apology to her with “Sorry,” creating a curious contrast. Shortly after, however, Kang draws a line with a pout, saying, “I am not washing dishes with Woo-yeol anymore,” piquing curiosity about what might have happened between the two.

Kang Yu-kyung enters a bookstore for a new date. Soon after, facing her date, she sets a sweet tone by saying, “Just as you wanted to talk with me, I also have a lot to talk about with you.” Meanwhile, in front of all the residents, Jung Jun-hyun approaches her proactively, saying, “I will give you a gift for Valentine’s Day.” Watching the two, Park Woo-yeol wears a subtle, complex smile, revealing a hint of jealousy.

Elsewhere, Choi So-yoon raises the ‘flutter index’ as she goes on an ‘arcade date’ with Kim Seo-won. The two clasp hands and hop excitedly in front of a claw machine, and Choi even makes a ‘heart-fluttering’ remark: “You know that slight tingling, right?” In the taxi on the way back from the date, Kim looks at her with gentle eyes and says, “I think I will follow my heart from now on,” letting viewers feel a change in his romantic temperature. He goes further, saying, “There is absolutely no one whose (love line) is certain,” a loaded comment that draws keen attention to how the residents’ love lines, increasingly entangled in complex feelings and relationships in the latter half, will unfold.
