‘Gag Concert’ has previewed witty social-satire comedy.

‘Age of Romance’ lampoons offender human-rights issues and builds anticipation for a ‘refreshing twist’ at a future police station. In ‘Simgok Police Substation,’ Kang Myeong-seon transforms into a ‘scaredy-cat’ in front of a dark storage room, promising big laughs.

On the KBS2 broadcast of ‘Gag Concert’ on the 14th, ‘Age of Romance’ will tease new laughs, and ‘Human-i’ Kang Myeong-seon of ‘Simgok Police Substation’ is set to spark laughter by switching into an unexpected coward mode.

Having delivered laughs by comparing present-day and past schools, ‘Age of Romance’ will turn its gaze to society at large. It plans to satirize a variety of incidents and phenomena going forward.

‘Age of Romance’ shows a criminal, after completing police questioning, standing before the press with a cap and mask hiding the face, calling out a situation in which the rights of offenders are emphasized more than the pain of victims.

By portraying a future where a red carpet is rolled out in front of the police station because criminal rights are treated as paramount, it is expected to draw bitter laughs. On top of that, a refreshing twist is said to await, raising expectations.

In ‘Simgok Police Substation,’ the story follows ‘Human-i’ Kang Myeong-seon, who is sent on an errand to retrieve items from a dark storage room. Unlike his earlier confidence about having a night mode, he becomes extremely tense as the door of the pitch-black storage room opens. Having become a ‘scaredy-cat,’ Human-i mirrors the behavior of timid people, setting up laughs.

KBS2 ‘Gag Concert’ airs at 10:40 p.m. on the 14th.
