Travel creator Pani Bottle has drawn attention by delivering a sharp rebuke to celebrities who run YouTube channels.
On the 12th, the YouTube channel ‘Channel Fifteenya’ released a video titled ‘A high-class forum for creators with 19.5 million subscribers’. In the video, Chimchakman, Pani Bottle, Mimiminu, Car the Garden, Kang Min-kyung, Hyoyeon, Gwak Beom, and Eom Ji-yoon appeared and shared various stories about creator activities.
Pani Bottle said, “I was honestly surprised to receive this symposium-style setup,” and added, “There are exactly three people here whom I truly recognize as creators,” then pointed to himself, Chimchakman, and Mimiminu.
Addressing the cast members who are singers and comedians by background, he said, “I fully acknowledge what they have achieved in their own fields,” but added, “Some of them start on third base and then mistake that for being good at baseball. We are people who got on base by hitting singles from the very beginning.” He went on, “Celebrities, in any case, came in after catching the smell of money,” which stirred up the room.

In response, producer Na Young-seok shot back, “How much do you make,” and Kang Min-kyung reacted with, “What is with this guy,” appearing baffled. Car the Garden likewise said, “I really get irritated when money talk comes up,” showing displeasure. By contrast, Hyoyeon quipped, “I am good at smelling money,” bringing the house down.

Pani Bottle then praised Chimchakman as “someone who was active even when personal channels did not make money,” and “a person who started with nothing and rose to where he is now,” lauding him as the ‘godfather’ of the creator world.
Viewers who saw the video reacted, saying, “The starting lines for ordinary creators and creators who are celebrities by background cannot help but be different,” “Pani Bottle said the right thing,” and “Celebrities say their main job is singer or actor, yet seek to be recognized on the same level for their achievements as YouTubers,” among other comments.
