The idol group Stray Kids, who declared an ‘August comeback’, has unveiled the trailer for its new mini album ‘THIS & THAT’, notable for its uncanny, surreal concept.
On the 8th, Stray Kids’ social media channels released the new mini album ‘THIS & THAT’ trailer, heating up the comeback mood. The content stands out for a surreal setup in which, the moment you come face to face with Stray Kids, a space of freedom and solace unfolds.
In the video, when a person holding the LP handed over by Seungmin steps into a mysterious truck and hears the music flowing from their headphones, they are drawn into a world filled with Stray Kids. The unreal staging in which everyonebaristas, chefs, photographers, auctioneers, dancers, and bakery clerkshas the face of Stray Kids, along with dialogue composed only of “THIS” and “THAT”, heightened the eeriness.
The trailer, reminiscent of the group’s signature phrase ‘Stray Kids Everywhere All Around The World’, playfully conveys the message that Stray Kids are with you anytime, anywhere. In particular, a video uploaded at 8 p.m. on the 6th under the name ‘TEST’ is connected to this trailer, drawing attention.

‘TEST’ served both as part of the new album’s teasing content and as a pre-trailer ahead of the main trailer release, using the format from YouTuber Yoo Byung-jae’s channel ‘Mudaksil’ (I Absolutely Hate Scary Things). Scenes of Stray Kids exploring an abandoned house from a first-person camcorder perspective, and the host Yoo Byung-jae being cross-cut to appear as Seungmin, completed the chilling mood. Then a truck bearing the license plate ‘THIS & THAT’ appeared, hinting it is a gate to a bizarre world and heightening curiosity.
On August 7, with the new album ‘THIS & THAT’, Stray Kids will mark their first comeback of 2026. Ahead of the release, they unveiled the new digital single ‘RUN IT’ (Run It) on June 24. The new song, which carries the ambition to stride into a bigger world, topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in 43 overseas regions including the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom, and reached No. 1 on YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide after its release. The track will be officially included on ‘THIS & THAT’.
They are also broadening their momentum as a ‘performance powerhouse’. They will roll out a new world tour ‘Stray Kids World Tour ’, meeting fans at home and abroad, kicking off vigorously with five shows at KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Riding the heat of the U.S. mega music festival ‘The Governors Ball Music Festival’, which captivated about 45,000 attendees in June, they will visit three regions in Latin America in September for Brazil’s ‘Rock in Rio’ and the new Stray Kids-led festival ‘STRAYCITY’ (Straycity).
All eyes are on Stray Kids’ trajectory, as they shone in 2025 by becoming the first artists worldwide to enter the U.S. Billboard main albums chart, the ‘Billboard 200’, at No. 1 with eight consecutive albums, underscoring their presence as a ‘global top artist’. Meanwhile, Stray Kids’ mini album ‘THIS & THAT’ will be available on various music platforms at 1 p.m. on August 7.
