Singer and actor Lee Seung-gi and actor Lee Da-in have become parents of two.

On the 8th, representatives for Lee Seung-gi stated that a son was born at a hospital in Seoul on the 7th, the day before.

The couple married in 2023, welcomed their first daughter the following year, and have now welcomed their second child after two years.

The cheerful news comes as representatives for Lee Seung-gi have recently been in conflict with Cha Ga-won, chairman of Piac Group and head of Onehundred, drawing continued congratulations.

Last month, the MBC program ‘PD Notebook’ highlighted controversies over Onehundred’s unpaid settlements and various allegations surrounding Chairman Cha.

In the broadcast, regarding his residence in a luxury house built by Chairman Cha with a jeonse deposit of 10.5 billion won, Lee Seung-gi claimed, “(Chairman Cha) refused to finalize the deposit citing an appraisal, then after move-in demanded an amount more than three times higher than at first. The promise to cover the loan interest is also not being kept.”

In response, the legal representative for Chairman Cha rebutted via a YouTube channel that it was a “malicious frame,” further asserting that “Lee Seung-gi requested a jeonse contract instead of receiving the signing fee in kind to avoid regulations on multiple-home owners and tax issues.”

Representatives for Lee Seung-gi again refuted this, announcing a hard-line response: “We will detail Cha Ga-won’s alleged crimes through the investigative authorities and hold him strictly accountable.” Currently, an arrest warrant for Chairman Cha has been requested with the Seoul Central District Prosecutors Office on charges including fraud under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes.

In 2024, Lee Seung-gi signed an exclusive contract with Big Planet Made, a subsidiary of Onehundred, but in April notified termination citing unpaid settlements, among other reasons.
