“Candid inner self, distinctive dimensionality”
The official film for the solo track ‘Mia’, which holds Vernon's childhood memories and comes from SEVENTEEN's new unit V8(THE 8, Vernon), has been released.
The video opens with the voices of his parents calling Hansol (Vernon's Korean name). From his toddler years just beginning to speak to his mischievous boyhood, it captures Vernon's childhood to a lively rhythm. The process of expanding his own world with innocent curiosity as the engine harmonizes with the spirited mood of the song and brings a warm smile.
In the latter part of the film, the journey Vernon has taken as a member of SEVENTEEN is distilled, delivering moving emotion. The growth narrative, in which responsibility and gravity build over the playful face of his younger days, blends with sincere lyrics to heighten immersion.
Vernon has said, “The greatest source of inspiration is, without question, SEVENTEEN and CARAT (the fandom name),” and that sincerity comes through clearly in the video.

Vernon joined hands with KIRARA, a two-time winner of the Korean Music Awards, Han Jeong-in, and longtime collaborator Robb Roy to create ‘Mia’. He infused candid reflection into an intuitive, addictive lead sound and a powerful beat that can move anyone.
After release, the track was praised by critics and international media as “a song with a distinctive dimensionality in that it allows a glimpse into Vernon's candid inner self” (Vogue Singapore).
Vernon will continue his musical activities through standalone V8 concerts. They will hold ‘2026 VERNON THE 8 [V8] LIVE’ on the 11~12 at KINTEX Exhibition Center 1, Hall 1, in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, and on the 17~19 at AsiaWorld-Expo Hall 10 in Hong Kong.
