‘Rising star’ Yang Yoo-jin will appear back-to-back in ENA’s “A Dream to You” and JTBC’s “Apartment.”
Actor Yang Yoo-jin will cement her presence by appearing in succession in “A Dream to You” and “Apartment.”
On the 8th, her agency FN Entertainment said, “Actor Yang Yoo-jin will appear as Chae-yeon in ENA’s MondayTuesday drama ‘A Dream to You’ and as Ha Young-joo in JTBC’s SaturdaySunday drama ‘Apartment’.”
ENA’s new MondayTuesday drama “A Dream to You” (directed by Yoo Seon-dong, written by Jung Eun-bi, planned by KT Studio Genie, produced by Contents Planner) is a romantic comedy that tells the afterstory of the reunion between genius film director Woo Soo-bin (played by Hwang In-yeop), who has returned after achieving his dream, and Joo I-jae (Lee Hye-ri), a livelihood reporter who lives having forgotten her dreams.
Yang Yoo-jin plays Chae-yeon, the manager of actress Oh Hana (Lee Yeol-eum). Chae-yeon is a professional manager who meticulously handles the actor’s schedule and on-site needs, and a steadfast supporter who stays by Oh Hana’s side first in every difficult moment. Taking on a character with a frank and cheerful personality, Yang will showcase best-friend chemistry that goes beyond a mere business relationship with Oh Hana. Her unpredictable, quirky charm is also expected to inject energy into the story at just the right moments, raising expectations for Yang’s performance.
Yang Yoo-jin’s momentum doesn’t stop there. JTBC’s new SaturdaySunday drama “Apartment” (written by Kim Yoon-young, directed by Jo Yong-won) is a true-to-life human drama in which Park Hae-gang, a former boss of the Oasis faction who jumps into the election for the residents’ association chair to uncover the truth about money hidden within the apartment complex, teams up with residents to track down corruption.
In “Apartment,” Yang plays Ha Young-joo, the longtime friend of Kang Ha-ri (Ha Yoon-kyung). Because she cherishes Ha-ri more than anyone, she sometimes offers brutally honest advice. Even so, she is the first to reach out when Ha-ri faces hardship, becoming a steadfast pillar and showcasing a genuine friendship. The warm chemistry Yang will portray is expected to add heart to the series.
Having steadily built her filmography through appearances in dramas such as ‘First, For Love’, ‘Hamburger Studies: Class of ’23’, and ‘Convenience Store Ttukttagi’, Yang Yoo-jin has left a strong impression with stable acting in every project. Attention is on the new charms she will reveal through “A Dream to You” and “Apartment.”
ENA’s new MondayTuesday drama “A Dream to You,” starring Yang Yoo-jin, will premiere at 10 p.m. on July 13 on ENA and will also be available on KT Genie TV and Tving. JTBC’s new SaturdaySunday drama “Apartment” will premiere at 10:40 p.m. on July 11.
