On this day, Han Kyung-Il, a signature emotional balladeer of the 2000s, appears with the nickname ‘Friend of Moses, Sugarman’. As the artist behind many hits including ‘Half of My Life’ and ‘I Loved One Person’, his surprise appearance sends the cast down memory lane. When Han Kyung-Il belts out his signature song ‘Half of My Life’, the cast cannot hide their delight, saying, “A song that was with us through our school days.”

Also revealed is the special bond between same-age friends Chun-Gil and Han Kyung-Il. Chun-Gil shares that seeing Han Kyung-Il, who had already made a name as a singer, take on an audition program was a profound shock and inspiration. He adds, “Competing on ‘Mister Trot 3’ under the name Chun-Gil and standing here now owe a great deal to the example Kyung-Il set back then,” a confession that tugs at the heart.

Han Kyung-Il also opens up about a heartbreaking family story. He had spent a long time caring for his mother as she battled Parkinson disease, and after seeing her off last year, his father then began to show signs of Alzheimer disease. Turning to his father, Han Kyung-Il conveys his longing: “Please remember me. I love you.”
