Actor Kim Young-dae, who enlisted this past April, has been accepted into the Army band.

On the 9th, Outer Universe, Kim Young-dae’s agency, stated, “Kim Young-dae has recently been accepted into the Army band and is continuing his service.”

Enlisting on April 20, Kim Young-dae entered the Army Training Center, completed basic military training, and at the end of last month passed the band exam. He is reportedly now serving with the Army 12th Infantry Division band.

This unit is also where NCT member Doyoung, who enlisted last December, is serving as an assistant instructor.

After gaining attention with the SBS ‘Penthouse’ series that aired in 2020, Kim Young-dae went on to appear in works including ‘Shooting Star’ ‘The Forbidden Marriage, Joseon Marriage Ban’ ‘The Moon That Rises During the Day’ ‘I Do Not Want to Take a Loss’ ‘Dear X’ and ‘To the Moon’, establishing himself as a youth star.

After announcing his enlistment recently, he also greeted fans via SNS (social networking service). Kim Young-dae is scheduled to be discharged in October next year.
