Recently, actress Lee Hyeri, who had weathered the ‘belly fat controversy’, celebrated the 16th anniversary of her group, Girl’s Day.
On the 9th, Hyeri posted a photo on her SNS (social networking service) along with the message, “Happy 16th birthday, Girl’s Day.” The photo shows the full lineup of Girl’s Day: Hyeri, Yura, Sojin, and Minah.
Girl’s Day debuted in 2010 and marked its 15th debut anniversary this year. They gained popularity with hit songs such as ‘Banjjak Banjjak’, ‘Gidaehae’, and ‘Something’. Since 2017, they have focused on solo activities rather than group ones. Members including Hyeri, Minah, and Yura have established themselves as actors.
After facing the ‘belly fat controversy’ over a recent photo she posted on social media, Hyeri coolly brushed it off and is set to premiere ENA’s new MondayTuesday drama ‘Geudaeege Dream’ on the 13th. She plays Ju I-jae, a reporter working to make ends meet, in the series.
