The idol group EPEX(EPEX) will head to the international awards ‘2026 Weibo Cultural Communication Night’ this August, demonstrating its global influence.
EPEX(Wish·MU·A-Min·Baekseung·Aiden·Yewang·Jeff) will attend ‘2026 Weibo Cultural Communication Night (Weibo Cultural Communication Night)’ to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, on August 8.
‘2026 Weibo Cultural Communication Night’ is an international cultural exchange awards ceremony hosted by Weibo, the leading Chinese social media platform. With global stars spanning Korea, Greater China, and Thailandincluding Jung Il-woo, Mark of GOT7, Chen Yanxi, Fu Xinbo, Billkin(Billkin), and PP Krit(PP Krit)gathering in one place, EPEX joined the lineup as a representative K-pop boy group, proving its global influence.
EPEX, which will hold its first local solo fan meeting in Guangzhou, China on the 26th, titled ‘Echo of Youth / (Echo of Youth)’, has also confirmed its attendance at ‘2026 Weibo Cultural Communication Night’, and is drawing heated anticipation from fans across Greater China and the rest of Asia. EPEX has been steadily gaining momentum as it continuously expands its global reach.

Last month, EPEX released its 7th mini album ‘Sohwa: Epilogue (Sohwa: Epilogue)’ and carried out an active comeback for about three weeks with the title track ‘ECHO (Echo)’. ‘ECHO’ is a song for which members Jeff·Baekseung·Aiden participated in writing the lyrics, showcasing a powerful hip-hop energy unique to EPEX and earning a positive response.
In the second half of the year, they aim straight for fans with vigorous moves including fan meetings, award shows, and a tour. Starting in Seoul on the 18th and 19th of this month, EPEX will hold its fourth solo concert tour ‘ECHO’ in Tokyo on August 21 and in Taipei on September 12. In addition, member Baekseung will demonstrate his versatility by appearing as the idol Taeo in the new Monday-Tuesday drama on tvN, ‘Choe-aeui Sawon’, which premieres on August 3.
