The fan platform Weverse said on the 5th that it has applied the beta version of the conversational search service ‘Weverse AI(Weverse AI)’ to its mobile app(App), helping fans find the information they want more easily and quickly.
Weverse AI is a ‘smart assistant’ service that finds, through conversation, information needed for fandom activities based on Weverse data at scale. By adopting Google Gemini, it enables natural conversation and provides a unified search environment that spans Weverse and Weverse Shop.
The beta service focuses its search scope on community notices, ‘Weverse Live’ content, and official product information on ‘Weverse Shop’. It concentrates on maximizing convenience in exploring official information that fans check most frequently.
Weverse AI can be accessed directly via a dedicated entry button at the top of Weverse Home. Through this, fans can instantly check, in the chat window, the price of products of interest, currency-specific prices, and stock status without visiting Weverse Shop. In addition, when users ask about the content of a specific live video, it offers a ‘timestamp’ feature that jumps straight to the relevant scene, enhancing continuity of viewing. It also provides links to original content related to the answer text, improving the clarity of information. A user-friendly experience stands out as well. To help users try AI search across the various service areas of Weverse, it presents ‘recommended questions’, improving familiarity.
Weverse plans to continuously enhance the completeness of the service based on data and feedback collected during the beta period. Going forward, it will sequentially expand the search scope to areas with high fan usage, such as artist posts, evolving into a highly practical tool that lets users find the wide range of information on Weverse in one place.
