Disney+ ‘A Shop for Killers 2’

Actor Jung Yun-ha, newly joining the Disney+ original series ‘A Shop for Killers Season 2’, plays ‘Kusanagi’, the head of the East Asia branch of the assassin organization ‘Babylon’, bringing the drama's conflict into full swing.

Episodes 5 and 6, released on the 5th, showed Kusanagi stepping to the fore to seize control of ‘Babylon Korea’. In those installments, Kusanagi faced Ji-an (played by Kim Hye-jun), the mall's new head, and, unfazed by the other side's sniper threats or last-ditch tactics, took the lead in the war of nerves.

It also depicted how the organization ruthlessly exploits those around it as tools to achieve its goal of eliminating Jung Jin-man (played by Lee Dong-wook). By provoking Q's grief and desire for revenge to pressure Jung Jin-man, and by putting Pashin forward as bait, its ends-justify-the-means maneuvers became a main axis of the narrative.

Jung Yun-ha conveyed Kusanagi's traits, revealing his own ambition even amid tense relations with superiors, through a dry portrayal built on her distinctive low register and restrained facial acting.

Meanwhile, ‘A Shop for Killers Season 2’ is an eight-part action series that depicts Jung Jin-man, who has returned alive, teaming up with his niece Ji-an to confront the global killer syndicate Babylon; two episodes are released every Wednesday on Disney+.
