Actor Yang Jung-a revealed her feelings on air for the first time since her mother passed away last month.

Yang Jung-a appeared in the teaser that ran at the end of KBS1 ‘Let’s Live Together with Hwang Shin-hye’ aired on the 5th.

In the teaser, Yang Jung-a was shown visiting a valley with actor Hwang Shin-hye and broadcaster Shin Gye-sook. The three shared various conversations, and the topic naturally turned to Yang Jung-a’s mother.

Yang Jung-a recalled her final moments with her mother, saying, “I have not said the word ‘I love you’ to my mom very often in life, but she said she was grateful that we spent time together.”

Hearing this, Shin Gye-sook replied, “That must have been your mother’s lifelong feeling.” Hwang Shin-hye asked, “Doesn’t your mother like you best when you are bright and carefree?” and prepared a healing course for Yang Jung-a.

Experiencing Hwang Shin-hye’s thoughtfulness, Yang Jung-a shed tears, saying, “These are happy, comforting tears.” She added, “This is so good. I love you. Let’s be happy from now on.”

Yang Jung-a lost her mother on the 19th of last month. In a December broadcast, she also revealed that her mother had suffered a back fracture.

At the time, she said she was “caring for her together with my younger sibling,” adding, “Even though she is alive, I want to see her every day. Even when I am looking at her, I cannot meet her eyes, so I miss her even while I am looking at her,” sharing her longing and drawing sympathy from viewers.
