Players of Hanwha Life Esports (HLE), who reached the top of the League of Legends (LoL) world, visited the Daejeon ballpark and received a rousing welcome.

In the released video, the HLE squad that recently won the ‘2026 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI)’ is seen visiting Daejeon Hanwha Life Ballpark to watch a pro baseball game and take part in the ceremonial first pitch and first swing, while Eagles players, upon seeing them, look giddy like schoolgirls.
What drew the most attention on site was baseball player Kang Baek-ho’s distinctive ‘successful fan’ side. Known as a HLE ‘true fan’, Kang could not hide his excitement the moment the players appeared; he even borrowed an instant camera on the spot to ask for photos, constantly professing his fandom.

Kang said, “I like you more than celebrities”, “I even went to the final in person,” expressing affection proactively from the very first meeting.
